All Cedarcraft Gazebos are built in northern Wisconsin by Lars Hassel and his crew of craftsmen. Lars immigrated to the United States from Sweden in 1955 and settled in the Minneapolis area where he was a contractor. In 1982, looking for a lifestyle change, he and his family moved to the Turtle Lake, Wisconsin area and started building gazebos which he remembered from his childhood in Sweden.
Lars’ attention to detail combined with the European tradition of fine craftsmanship insure that every Cedarcraft Gazebo is built to the highest standards of value and craftsmanship.
For over 22 years Lars and his crew of craftsmen have been handcrafting some of the finest gazebos available anywhere. All of the lumber is hand selected and only the best grade is used. Each floor, wall, and roof panel is assembled on a jig so that tight tolerances can be assured and your gazebo bolts together perfectly.
From the very first gazebo sold in 1982 (which, by the way, is still giving its owners daily pleasure), each and every Cedarcraft Gazebo sold is a testimonial to the quality of its construction and the discernment of its owner.
